Could you explain the problem? (I think it's related  to RPM 4.x, which
was introduced in SuSE 9.0, IIRC).

However: unless I'm imagining things (I didn't have time to investigate
this thoroughly yet), the problem is still present under SuSE 9.0 (SuSE
9.1 seems to be OK).

Can someone on the list confirm/deny this?
