Are you talking about Dolphin?

If so, you should use this;

   1. check the status;

      $ systemctl --user status plasma-dolphin.service

   2. stop the dolplhin

      $ systemctl --user stop plasma-dolphin.service

   3. when you'll need to use it in the future;

      $ systemctl --user disable plasma-dolphin.service
