When a repo is removed, the desktop continues working as usual. The 
problem is when you try to install something.

You have to disable the ecsos repo in YaST so that a solution is found 
without using it.

And you have to consider whether to remove sound related packages from 
that repo.

In general, the priority of a home repo should be a higher number than 
100, so that packages are not automatically installed from it.
