Hi,

Tumbleweed (Tw) represents an almost stable rolling release with
bleeding-edge updates, whereas Leap offers a fully stable release based
on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES). Both distributions excel in
their respective approaches.

You must choose the model that best suits your needs—whether you prefer
frequent updates (rolling) or stability (stable). So far, I have not
observed any significant differences in memory consumption or
performance between them.

Tumbleweed does include YAST by default.
Best regards,
Niclaas
