I just updated TW on my laptop last week. The previous update I performed was in January. No problems, no surprises, no issues of any kind. Both distributions excel in their respective approaches. You must choose the model that best suits your needs—whether you prefer frequent updates (rolling) or stability (stable). So far, I have not observed any significant differences in memory consumption or performance between them. Tumbleweed does include YAST by default. Best regards, Niclaas Reading comments on the forum, some people are going /months/ between updates on TW. They say their systems remain stable and they still have the latest versions of software. I wouldn't recommend this, but the stress of daily updates on TW might be overblown. Jon Cosby seattlebluesblog.com
