I just really don't like lowering the privacy when talking to github. I guess its safer than most sites, but it is still quite a data grubber. The only thing that is puzzling is that uploads to github worked for years with strict privacy enabled, but then they just quit. I didn't change privacy settings on my end, so something seems odd.
