Holy Cow!

$ ls -al /etc/hosts
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 674 Jun  9 04:25 /etc/hosts

   I think Masaru has found a 4MB problem. I'll let Masaru advise on how
to proceed, me, I'd just delete it and restart the network, but I'm
old-school.

   I'd like to know how Masaru new to check the size with ls rather than
to cat as normal to check the content. I suspect this may not be the
first issue with a large /etc/hosts.
