OK fine. But first I need working wireless andworking network manager or I need to remove NM and do everything command line which is a pain. I can restore the full hosts file later. I need working wireless now and have lost hope that anything here will work as all advice has failed. I know these things work for those on this list but why not my system which has in the past had working wireless. Is there a third program not command line and not NM which makes wireless work or was that time before the drive crash a fluke and the software is now lost.??????????????
