A pity.  Indeed, iconifying does work, but no way to de-iconify (tried by
calling the functions from the *scratch* Lisp buffer)

I found a post that seems to claim ignoring such requests is the correct way,
but maybe I'm mis-reading it:

At least the main work computer will stay on Xorg for now, as I just noticed
Compose keys seem to need some work, too.
