Hi, probably flatpak is a solution for you? Works flawless and is always up to date. There is a snap, too, just as up to date and just as functional. BR Niclaas -------- Ursprüngliche Nachricht -------- Von: Markus Feilner <[email protected]> An: [email protected] Kopie: DeeAnn Little <[email protected]> Betreff: Signal-desktop stopped working on Tumbleweed (rpms from obs outdated) Datum: 02.07.2026 08:23:55 Hi there, Long story here: https://mastodon.social/@mfeilner/116843089570909210 My question: Signal Desktop just stopped working on my Tumbleweed, suddenly, because Signal blocked my version (8.5) that comes from the network repository. It's from April. Now a commet on mastodon insinuates that the package isnt maintainted anymore - Is that true? Can we help? How? Or do we have to switch to Appimage for this... ? Can anybody ping me to Ithod? https://build.opensuse.org/users/ithod I'll try to write him... and I'll try to find out which versions Signal still accepts. Thanks a lot!
