The problem is the migration tool croaks on my ThinkPad E520. In addition to Linux, with a separate /home partition, it also has Windows and the system recovery partitions, which 16 couldn't handle without clobbering. It sure would be nice if the later versions understood that not everyone starts with a fresh disk.
