I 'upgraded' a couple of Leap 15.6 systems to Leap 16.0 (fresh install 
into existing partitions, some left as is, others formatted, one or two 
resized and new ones added, all using Ext4 or XFS and not Btrfs, and the 
disk partitioning section in Agama was a real pain point. However, 
eventually after a lot of tearing my hair out, it was possible.

A lot of the interface elements in the new installer have weird 
behavioural quirks and it's not at all evident how to do certain tweaks 
that were possible under the old YaST partitioner. My installs were a 
couple of months ago so I don't recall so clearly, but I seem to 
remember things like fields that you had to type in and then explicitly 
select an option with the mouse rather than the keyboard, or hit the 
Enter key, else it appeared there was no way to change the 
configuration. I think most of the functionality is there but much of it 
hidden behind some awful design choices. I've read that there's 
continued work on the installer and partitioner so hopefully come Leap 
16.1 it will have improved a lot.

It's worth having a go with it but you might need an hour of endless 
faffing, backing out of configs to the main screen and wondering why it 
keeps then messing up your choices, before you figure out how to get 
around it.
