It's not the cat's fault that someone is still using mc :-)

I am interested in this because someone mentioned automating moving the messages
with an imap client.  Unfortunately for me I guess I don't understand imap as well
as I thought I did.  I use Thunderbird via imap to my Bellsouth (also with Gmail).
I see some junk mail or messages I no longer need so I delete them but it seems that
they don't go away as far as the server is concerned.  I can check later with Thunderbird
or via web and they are still there.

If I can't get manual things done, I doubt that I would have much luck with automating.
