Vivaldi is based on the Chromium engine from Google Chrome.

Google has disabled Manifest version 2 in Chrome and this disables all
older WebExtensions, including µBO.

I have written about this:

Brave has its own ad-block engine, but I do not recommend Brave and I
am not alone.

Waterfox includes the Brave engine and uses it.

So, for now, there may be work-arounds and they might temporarily keep
MftV2 addons like UBO working, but at some point they won't.

Medium term, your best bet is µBlock Origin Lite.

Longer term, I highly recommend a Mozilla-based browser.

I like Waterfox which has a built-in ad-blocker and disables all Mozilla
telemetry and "AI" features.

Zen is also good and has an innovative tiling UI.
