Google has disabled Manifest version 2 in Chrome and this disables all older WebExtensions, including µBO. I have written about this: https://www.theregister.com/software/2026/06/16/firefox-152-understands-sssh/5256390 Brave has its own ad-block engine, but I do not recommend Brave and I am not alone. https://www.spacebar.news/stop-using-brave-browser/ and... https://archive.ph/0g3ne Waterfox includes the Brave engine and uses it. So, for now, there may be work-arounds and they might temporarily keep MftV2 addons like UBO working, but at some point they won't. Medium term, your best bet is µBlock Origin Lite. Longer term, I highly recommend a Mozilla-based browser. I like Waterfox which has a built-in ad-blocker and disables all Mozilla telemetry and "AI" features. Zen is also good and has an innovative tiling UI. (Sorry -- originally sent offlist by mistake.
