It is not correct to say "Google WILL support". Chrome _already_ supports v3; the new spec dates back about 8 years now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Chrome#Manifest_V3 > and uBlock Origin has also announced its> transition to Manifest V3. This is categorically false. No it has not. > > https://ublockorigin.com This is a fake site. It is not associated with µBlock Origin. This is the real site: https://github.com/gorhill/ublock If you view the .com site from a browser with uBO or uBO Lite it inserts a bright red banner reading **This is not the official uBlock Origin site** If you do not see this then it means that you are not running uBO yourself. UBlock Origin **Lite** is a Mv3 addon. The original and full uBO is a Mv2 addon. The developer Ray Gorham explains the difference here: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBlock-issues/wiki/About-Google-Chrome's-%22This-extension-may-soon-no-longer-be-supported%22 -- Liam Proven ~ Profile: https://about.me/liamproven Email: [email protected] ~ gMail/Twitter/LinkedIn/FB/Bsky: lproven IoM: (+44) 7624 227612: UK: (+44) 7939-087884 Czech [+ WhatsApp/Telegram/Signal]: (+420) 702-829-053
