Vivaldi for two months starting in April, I tried to use Firefox, but
I just couldn't get used to the UI, so I didn't end up using it.

However, since I couldn't just leave it at that, I tried using
Waterfox, which Liam recommended, but I'm stuck on the smartphone part
and don't know what to do. I nevwer use a smartphone at all, but when
I try to re-register on the site, it says a smartphone is required,
and I can't proceed any further.

I question the common sense of Japanese IT engineers who can only
build systems that require a smartphone to complete the process.

Even though there are many people with disabilities in Japan,
why isn't this taken into consideration?

Unfortunately, this mindset of treating all people as identical is a
reality in Japan across all aspects of life.
