I moved from 15.4 to Tumbleweed, and have been very pleased ever since. 
I would highly recommend it. Still has i586 support, so your older 
hardware is supported as well. Just add 'enforcing=0' to your kernel 
command-line if you run into selinux issues until you have time to wade 
through the details.

New Tumbleweed installs provide selinux by default. A good security 
system, a bit of an overkill for a community/desktop distro, but 
excellent security hardening. Downside is the enterprise protection 
comes with enterprise complexity that takes a while to digest.

If you don't mess with it regularly, you end up in a never-ending cycle 
of having to re-learn the specifics every time something needs to be 
adjusted. That's why I say it's overkill for desktop use. If you don't 
work with selinux regularly, it just becomes a frustration more than a 
benefit for person machines, but excellent protection against anything 
that creeps onto your box and attempts to modify files, selinux will 
stop that dead in its tracks.
