No, the BIOS failed to update and the tool generated a report that it=20
said was going to be sent to the manufacturer. Did you not read it?

What attitude? What are you talking about?

I read the man page and the opensuse wiki about that thing. I used the=20
CLI to apply updates. It said if I wanted it to reboot the machine. I=20
said "no", and then I clicked on the XFCE menu to reboot. Some messages=20
went by during boot about no capsules, I had no time to read or take a=20
photo of it. Then the machine went through the normal boot to operating=20
system. Then I asked the command about updates, and it said that some=20
things were updated and some were not, and produced a report, which I=20
pasted here.

I am not happy about a procedure that fails to update the firmware for=20
whatever reason that I do not understand.

I know very well to wait and not power off during firmware updates.

If it does hang during the procedure, well, you are really fucked,=20
machine lost. Which is why I do not happily apply them.
