As Thomas wrote, you can find them on
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/ham/9.3-i386
or on any SUSE LINUX mirror that carries the projects folder. You can
simply add the directory as a YaST installation source ("yast
inst_source") to be able to install them via YaST.
Please note that I maintain these package in my spare time and that I
currently cannot test them as I don't find the time... Thus, the
packages are not official SUSE LINUX packages.
The reason for not delivering hamradio packages on the media kit is that
most of the programs are quite old. It becomes more and more difficult
to even be able to build them. Additionally, many of them won't build on
any other system architecture than PC (i386), causing additional load on
me and our autobuild team. And finally, the potential costs to react
fast and correctly in case of security issues with these packages are
too high to justify further support for the packages.
Maintaining the packages privately has at least one advantage for me: I
have to fix and build the packages only once within the last weeks of
the beta phase of the product, opposed to (in some cases) weekly after
someone has checked in a new gcc, glibc, QT or KDE update.
