We need have our 32-bit linux application running on 64-bit machines. Due to some third-party limitations, we cannot build this application on 64-bit machines natively. Thus we'll be using the '32-bit compatibility mode'. But our 32-bit application cannot be run on SuSE 8.0 ia64 system with kernel 2.4.21-273-itanium2. It has no problem to run on SuSE 9 ia64. Does someone know how to run 32-bit applications on SuSE 8 ia64? If 32-bit glibc is needed, could you please point me where to get it?
