KDE icon positions garbled after reboot

Using:	Leap 42.3 + KDE (uptodate)

	Monitor native resolution 1920x1080

After every reboot are all the icons of active activity are on wrong
positions.

What could be the reason of this garbling ???

As work around I have a backup copy of the file
".config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc".

When everything is garbled I copy this file from the backup one and
logoff login, this becomes more and more annoying.

Is this a known problem, what could be a solution?
