I just had the same problem. Just remove the trash folder of your local
mailbox. Command "rm -rf .local/share/akonadi_maildir_resource_0/trash/" and
you are up and running again. The folder will be created again. In case you
have items in {cur,new,tmp} you may save these and later insert them.
With me this always happens when in an IMAP account where I change the default
Trash folder, pointing to the trash folder in the local mailbox, into the
trash folder in the IMAP account.
