There must be another file involved that stores the information how the icons
are ordered. The plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc was not touched
since sunday and not changed since July 2018.

Nevertheless when I logged in this morning the icons where garbled. Login out
and in again the icons where at the right place.

It would be good one of the developers would care for this problem and would help
to find the right place where the information about the ordering of the icons is stored
and what files are involved.
