Hangouts, XMPP and KDE on-line accounts

Hi,
I wonder which options do we have for instant messaging (KDE, TW). I'd prefer 
KDE application. I need Google Hangouts (more accounts on custom domains), I 
can live without calling. If the application would work for XMPP/Jabber, the 
better. If also for IRC, the best.
On-line accounts in KDE control center allow me to add Google account and it 
can access Drive and YouTube. Nothing more. Using gdrive:/ in Dolphin lists 
accounts, but accessing them fails with "unknown error". Well, no Hangouts 
available here. Do I miss some required package? KDE on-line accounts allow me 
to add Google, ownCloud or Twitter. Nothing else.
I looked at https://en.opensuse.org/KDE_Telepathy but telepathy-kde doesn't 
exist anymore (https://software.opensuse.org/search doesn't find it). Wasn't 
Telepathy responsible for the chatting part of KDE on-line accounts? Do we 
have anything working based on Telepathy (Empathy?)?
I tried Kopete. It doesn't seem to be very maintained either (in KDE3 and 4 it 
used to be my favorite chatting application) and since the antispam module is 
missing, bots are very annoying there. Hangouts doesn't work there and the 
application is frequently crashing (when editing account settings, removing 
contacts, etc). Is it worth of reporting?
I tried Pidgin, but Hangouts didn't work for me and its privacy/antispam 
settings doesn't work very well.
Finally I tried YakYak https://github.com/yakyak/yakyak It seems to be working 
well, but it can use only one Google Hangouts account (I need two) and nothing 
else.
So do we have among our packages anything reliably working with Google 
Hangouts? I don't prefer to use it through web browser as I use KMail (so no 
webmail) and generally rather desktop clients. Full integration into KDE would 
also be nice, but I need at least anything working...
