As i wrote in the response to Dennis Campbell, the "wttyhx" program
that is used in get_x_user is probably broken wrt XGL. Please open a
bugreport for that, this will make it easier to track this down and
fix it.

Is this only in XGL or also in plain Xorg? Did you set the monitor size
correctly in sax2?

I have no idea why this one does not work with XGL, probably also worth a
(separate) bugreport.
