wie sieht es denn mit der Verschlüsselung der WLAN Verbindung aus? WEP oder 
WAP?
Vielleicht zuerst mal komplett ohne Verschlüsselung probieren und das Kabel 
ziehen (Verbindung entweder per Kabel oder per WLAN).
Vermutlich läuft der NetworkManager. Die Traditionelle Methode "ifup" ist 
unter Umständen sogar besser.
