Thanks Mark, but i don't use my pcmcia port. So no smpppd.
What I noticed is that if i use the  s2ram command in a console (in X)
first, suspend seems to work. If I use the laptops sleep button the
first time I suspend -> no wakeup.
Where can I find out where the problem lies. I can't see anything
suspicious when reading /var/log/pm-suspend.log
