s2disk worked some times ago. Now it works sometimes, but sometimes 
I get
   swsusp: Need to copy 115667 pages
   kernel: swsusp: Not enough free memory
and the machine resumes. Probably this depends on ATI driver, but 
spend no time to solve it until now.

VMWare Workstation 5.5 and 6.0 works with this constellation.
