Hi all,

maybe someone got a hint for me:
normally ifconfig shows the vmnet8 device that vmware uses for NAT
networking.
when I switch the profile with scpm, the vmnet8 device disappears, and
even restarting vmware does not bring it back.
after a reboot however it is back.
I can see no error messages in /var/log/messages.

how can I make vmnet8 survive the scheme switch??

thanks, martin
