Hi once more, Regarding this laptop, there's also a page http://www.thomashertweck.de/samsungp35.html that reports SuSE 9.2 running on it without any hitch. Apparently the Ethernet LAN is a RealTek (ntel 10/100 Ethernet UTP (RealTek RTL-8139) that, already, then was supported-so I assume it's not a question of support, but, rather, of network configuration. By the way, from the dmesg I do notice that wifi is correctly recognized. What does /sbin/ifconfig say, or netstat -r ? It must surely involve the connection to the router. How about /etc/init.d/network restart (as root)? Best regards, Stam Le 13/12/2009 17:53, Sascha 'saigkill' Manns a =C3=A9crit : > Hello Mates, > > i have recieved an Notebook from my Friend.
