writing pads for linux

Hi


I am looking for a writing pad for handwriting recognition of Chinese 
characters under linux.

I recently bought an PenPower Crystal Junior Writing Pad but so far I have not 
managed to get it working.

Does anyone know supported writing pads?

Or can someone help me to install the one I have?
