I don't think it's Japanese specific...,I think it's "website specific" I can input chinese in http://weathernews.jp/index.html https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/b4xb5i6E1x96uib5qNutsw?feat=directlink but can't in http://bugzilla-attachments.mozilla.gr.jp/attachment.cgi?id=2275 my laptop: openSUSE 11.4 x86_64, KDE, Shockwave Flash 10.3 r181 with npwrnpwrapper.so, ibus: from M17N ibus-1.3.9-23.1.x86_64 libibus2-32bit-1.3.9-23.1.x86_64 ibus-gtk-1.3.9-23.1.x86_64 ibus-gtk-32bit-1.3.9-23.1.x86_64 ibus-qt-1.3.1-11.1.x86_64 ibus-qt-32bit-1.3.1-11.1.x86_64 ibus-chewing-1.3.9.2-4.1.x86_64 ...
