ibus-input-pad works fine under ibus 1.5.4 in openSUSE 12.3. I don't
know what happened in your system. Perhaps, i should test it in openSUSE
13.1 later.
I also think bnc#845677 must fix in openSUSE13.1, your patch is Ok.
