VLC ruckelt grausam bei MP3 Wiedergabe

Hallo,

habe den aktuellen VLC player (1.0.0.rc4 oder so) und der ruckelt nur so durch 
die Gegen bei Audiowiedergabe. Egal, ob ich auf ALSA oder Pulseaudio gehe, Mit 
anderen Playern dagegen geht es wunderbar, Audio funktioniert auch sonst.

Da ich neu beim VLC bin, schließe ich eine nötige Anpassung irgendwo in der 
Konfig nicht aus. Kennt jemand dieses Verhalten von VLC?  Wie gesagt, andere 
Player laufen ganz glatt.
