Among the other answers here - I've never even configured a DVD writer. I've got Emprex, Dell (whatever), and several other models working on various SUSE machines. As mentioned - you may need codecs to write your multimedia to DVD, but the hardware should not be an issue. -- kai ponte www.perfectreign.com
