Probably useless outdated comment, it has been a year and back in 9.3 since my last Cinelerra projects. At that time, I had no problem with dv or avi files...but it was sluggish and cranky in KDE. Runs fine in FVWM2, and that's been my desktop ever since. Tom in NM
