notice that I just worked on windows with Magix. I could do the two
keyframe effects in a matter of minutes, but Magix could notn read the
ogv file I had to insert (and I spent 2 hours without success
installing codecs)

so why it's often, necessary to have two OS working...

that said having a working video editor was at some moment an open
source priority, it should be... if I see how many are working on windows.
