it was in year 2000, the computers are now much more powerfull :-)

I just buy a i5 4x cores and 4Gb ram for video hd editing

you can try it. But the main problem is uploading, my HD video sources
are often 40Gb and I have only 1Mb upload bandwith :-(

try to search google "cinelerra cluster", here I get mostly french
