Re: Low Latency

Thank You for all your help and hard work.  I used:
" rpm -ivh --force  k_lowlat-2.4.18-0.i386.rpm "
followed by:
" mk_initrd "
and:
" lilo "
then added:
kernel.lowlatency=1
to /etc/sysctl.conf (had to make a new file)
and everything seems to be working fine.  I'll run some sound tests later.
Let me know if there was (is) a better way or if I should re attempt this 
effort.
