should not be that long IMHO it scans the file (I see a mplayer 
instance, with very low cpu usage). At this moment I could not yet say 
that I don't want the film to be recoded - oit's done in the next screen

DVDstyler crashes when creating the dvd is there is any menu

If I change tjhe library to the Videolan one, it crashes but not at 
the same place
