Konq file asociation

Damm.. This must be a simple question. I just cant get it right:

I would like to associate 'm3u' files  at mp3.com to xmms insted of the build 
in player in konqueror. 

I've added xmms to the audio/mpegurl in file asociation inside konq. and moved 
it to the top. But when I hit a link konqueror still opens some other build 
in player. What did I miss?

And by the way: Can I do this for all my users in some common kde file?
