Try installing cdrtools from :
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/plater/openSUSE_11.4
this will get rid of any conflicting wodim files.
Then growisofs which is a separate package is found in dvd+rw-tools.
If this fails then k3b setup > programs is where to look for problems.
