Hi @all,
when I try to play an SVCD using mplayer 0.90 it works fine as long as I play
directly from CD. But when I copy the file avseq01.mpg on HD or mount the CD
and play it just the file mplayer just plays crop. (distorted sound & video)
Has anyone an idea of what parameter to use to play svcd files directly? Or do
i have to convert the file in some way? (playing VCD files work fine by the
way)

This is my mplayer version:
# MPlayer 0.90pre8-2.95.3 (C) 2000-2002 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS)
#
# CPU: Advanced Micro Devices Duron MG Morgan (Family: 6, Stepping: 1)
# CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 1 3DNow2: 1 SSE: 1 SSE2: 0
# Compiled for x86 CPU with extensions: MMX MMX2 3DNow 3DNowEx SSE

cat /proc/version
# Linux version 2.4.18-4GB ([email protected])
# (gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)) #1 Wed Mar 27 13:57:05 UTC 2002

I am using an AMD - Duron 1000 on K7S5A Mainboard / ATI RADEON 7500
There is an AVM Fritz! ISDN installed... that's all
Everything else is onboard (LAN/Sound)
