Making Svcd

Hi all, I have just recently purchased a firewire card and digital video 
camera.

I have been able to transfer video from the camera to the computer using
dvgrab (on the suse cds). 
This make HUGE files approx 1 Gig for 5 mins of video :) in dv format.

I then use Mainactor (on the suse cds) to open the dv file and then export it 
as mpeg1. I then use vcdimager to create vcds and use arson to burn them.

What I would now like to do is create Svcd rather than Vcd. Does anyone here 
know how I would be able to do that and what software I would require?
I guess I would need something to convert the dv to mpeg2?


Btw I am using Suse 8.0 Pro.
