Problems installing mjpegtools 1.6.1 under Suse 7.3

I'm trying to install a package I downloaded, mjpegtools-1.6.1-1.i386.rpm,
from sourceforge.net/projects/mjpeg.

It complained that the following dependencies failed:
libaviplay-0.7.so.0
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.2)
libgcc_s.so.1
libgcc_s.so.1(GCC_3.0)
libgcc_s.so.1(GLIBC_2.0)
libpng12.so.0
libstdc++.so.5
libstdc++.so.5(GLIBCPP_3.2)

I ran Online Update overnight on Sunday, and had a bunch of things updated
(including libc and libpng,) and it still failed all these.

I downloaded avifile-0.7.29_20030204-36.i586.rpm, and had similar issues
installing this package (for libaviplay-0.7.so.0.)

Should I be able to run mjpegtools under Suse 7.3, or will I need to install
Suse 8.2???
