Re: kwintv keeps sound on in suse 8.2

Hi Darwin,

Have no experience with ATI TV cards, but my Hauppauge does that
every time the application crashes (for whatever reasons)
instead of clean shutdown... Which basically means the driver
stays in memory and the card is "ON" (everything else goes in
the hardware level, like tuner->sound card). 

So I'm afraid you can't do much about it, except maybe unloading
the driver module (if possible at all)...
