S-video on Applications

Hi everyone,

I have just installed my new freshly out of the box Suse 9.0 Pro, I must 
admit it I lover it, since that my previews OS was Suse 8.0 with my own 
upgrades and patches and everything worked as a dream. Well now I have a 
small problem. None of the applications I have installed allow me to 
select s-video as a input from my TV card.

I used to use xawtv & motv and I think I even managed to use KwinTv but 
for some odd reason now of those application that comes pre-installed 
with Suse 9.0 allows me to change the input to s-video. Has anyone got 
any ideas why and how I can fix it or even if it is just a question of 
downloading a new version and install it over the top.
