Using xmms 1.2.7 under Suse8.2.

Okay, I tried to configure the CD Audio plugin as Gustavo recommended; I don't 
see any @Digital audio' option there. I d/led and installed the latest 
sourceforge version (0.99.9), no difference; the CD appears to play, but no 
sound from the speakers. (Yes, I checked the mixer - KMix -settings).

Then I installed cdread-0.14a, configured it to 'Read digital CD audio'; still 
no sound.

What am I doing wrong? My .xmms config file follows.
