Re: SuSE 8.2 / kernel 2.4.20-102 / alsa-1.0.2c & VX222v2 problem

Hi, I have a bit of experiance with sound screwing up after 
a kernel upgrade.
I'm not sure exactly how to remedy your problem, but for me, 
when I updated one of my Slackware 9.1 boxes, I had updated 
it wrong and the sound went. It says you are supposed to 
install the new kernel, sources, and alsa drivers, then 
install the kernel ide package. Maybe this can give you an 
idea what happened?
