sorry, this is my first time i'm writing to a mailing list.

i have a webcam and i want to be able to take a snapshot from the cam 
(/dev/video0) and save it to a file. so i need either a program which does 
both or just get's me the snapshot from the cam.
xawtv-remote allows to snapshot from a running xawtv process, but i want it 
without any process before. the program should open the device, take the 
snapshot and cloe the device. thats it.
